Terms of Service

1. Membership Agreement

By enrolling as a member of Beyond Jiu-Jitsu, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Membership grants access to classes, facilities, and programs as specified in your membership plan.

2. Membership Plans & Payments

• Membership fees are due on the first of each month
• Failed payments may result in account suspension
• Annual memberships are non-refundable after 30 days
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

3. Code of Conduct

All members must:

• Treat all instructors, staff, and fellow members with respect
• Maintain proper hygiene (clean gi, trimmed nails, no training while sick)
• Follow instructor directions at all times
• Not engage in dangerous or reckless behavior
• Not use techniques beyond their skill level without supervision

4. Cancellation Policy

Monthly memberships require 30 days written notice for cancellation. You may cancel via email to info@beyondbjj.com or in person at the front desk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

5. Freeze Policy

Members may freeze their membership for up to 3 months per year for medical reasons, travel, or other extenuating circumstances. A $25/month hold fee applies. Submit freeze requests at least 7 days before your billing date.

6. Facility Rules

• No shoes on the training mats
• No food or drinks (except water) on the mat area
• Personal belongings are your responsibility
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Recording during class requires instructor permission

7. Liability & Assumption of Risk

All members acknowledge that martial arts training involves risk of injury. By participating, you accept these risks and release Beyond Jiu-Jitsu from liability as detailed in the waiver signed upon enrollment.

8. Termination

Beyond Jiu-Jitsu reserves the right to terminate membership for violation of these terms, code of conduct violations, or behavior deemed harmful to the academy community. In cases of termination for cause, no refunds will be issued.
