Visitor Waiver

Please complete this waiver before your first class or trial session.

Important Notice

All participants must complete a waiver before stepping on the mats. For minors under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver on their behalf.

Training Expectations & Rolling Etiquette

At Beyond Jiu-Jitsu, we prioritize safety, respect, and intelligent training. Every training partner you work with is entrusting you with their physical well-being. Honor that trust.

Prohibited Techniques

  • No heel hooks — These are dangerous leg attacks that can cause severe knee injuries
  • No aggressive or reckless rolling — This is not competition, it's practice
  • No ego-driven training — Leave your ego at the door

Expected Behavior

  • Controlled, intelligent pace — Focus on technique execution over brute force
  • Camaraderie and friendship — Enjoy learning together
  • Mutual learning — Help your partners improve, and they'll help you

The Intelligent Training Philosophy

The goal is not to roll hard — it is to roll in an intelligent way where you're able to execute your processes and systems in a controlled manner without injuring your training partner who happens to trust you. This builds better technique, creates a safe learning environment, and develops lifelong training partners.

Consequences

Any aggressive rolling may result in your immediate removal from the school. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for reckless behavior. Our community is built on trust and mutual respect — those who cannot honor this philosophy are not welcome on our mats.
